It's amazing that after spending so much time poking around on the internet, there are still new things to find:

Another obsessive Moscow Metro site, although the author of this one admits that Artemy Lebedev's is more comprehensive.

"The Moscow that is no longer" (Moskva kotoroi net), photos of Moscow before it was reshaped according to Stalin's vision - this site also has a companion LiveJournal blog. All in Russian.
