Utro.ru has a long article (in Russian) speculating on whether Karimov has sealed his own fate by taking such harsh action in Andijan. The comments forum associated with this article (also in Russian) is also interesting to read. The assumption of several of the Russian commenters is that the Andijan uprising (and the events in Kyrgyzstan earlier this year) was orchestrated by the US.
Utro.ru also has a page devoted to its coverage of the unrest in Uzbekistan, including one late-breaking item from 30 minutes ago saying that 3,000 people are massed on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border and want to enter southern Kyrgyzstan.
