Milestone
At 4:28 this morning, Moscow time, "Scraps of Moscow" logged its 10,000th visitor. Not a very big deal on the internet in this day and age - many sites get that much traffic in a day or less - but it feels noteworthy to me. The milestone visitor happened to be someone located in San Diego, California, who has been a frequent visitor recently (5 times in the last week or so). Thanks to all of you for coming by to visit.

Bollocks! For a one man content provider, this is extremely good going considering how short a time the blog has been going.
Don't do yourself down: well done, and keep it up!
Yeah, I remember how thrilled I was when Siberian Light hit the 10,000 barrier. I, too, went searching through the logs to try and identify visitor number 10,000 (and discovered that he or she was located in Moscow - who know's, maybe you were my 10,000th visitor...).
Congratulations, and keep up the good work!
....um, that might be me. i feel like a stalker. or at the very least, a computer dork who visits the same twenty blogs obsessively at least once every day... sigh. i'm guessing i won't be online quite as much once i get back to russia in august, but we shall see.
