From yesterday's thelondonpaper:
Up to 7 in (17.5cm [sic]) of snow was dumped on London last night after a blast of wintry weather from Russia hit the capital. [...]It's almost enough to make one take a closer listen to those folks who moan about a Russophobic conspiracy within the British media.
The conditions were blamed on snowstorms from Russia and cold air sweeping in from the North Sea.

ah, this is so beautiful, lyndon! i wish we had as much snow in moscow - and slightly higher temperatures... it's minus 9 celcius now - warm compared to a few days ago and as long as i don't think of the +17 celcius expected in istanbul tomorrow...
